I’m not sure exactly why I felt the urge to make this belt, but back in April I must have seen one that looked cool. And it does. Look cool. It’s just not a very functional. I don’t know. Maybe it’s me. It’s true that the pattern says to “tie nonchalantly.” Maybe I’m just not a nonchalant belt wearer?
Which reminds me of a conversation I had once with a non-knitter during book group (no less) in which she told me there was no way a knitted belt was even possible. I didn’t agree then, and I still don’t agree now, but this one (which took me three months to get through) is definitely not the proof! It’s too long, it curls, and it’s just a plain pain to try and wear it.
